Whistleblower Lawyer Zuckerman Will Speak on ABA Panel About Whistleblower Claims

Whistleblower lawyer Jason Zuckerman will speak at the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law  Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee 2019 Mid-Winter Meeting on a panel titled “Identifying and Addressing Whistleblower Claims: Can You Hear the Whistle Blowing.” Zuckerman is privileged to speak alongside Melinda C. Burrows, Netscout, Westford, MA; Lloyd B. Chinn, Proskauer Rose LLP, New York, NY; and Uche Egemonye, U.S. Department of Labor, Atlanta, GA.

Topics include:  What constitutes whistleblowing and retaliation? This panel will discuss employee protections under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX) and the Dodd-Frank Wall Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank) and will provide guidance on how to address claims regarding adverse employment actions.

Zuckerman represents whistleblowers in whistleblower rewards and whistleblower retaliation claims.  For the past decade, Zuckerman has served as Co-Chair of the Whistleblower Subcommittee of the ABA Labor and Employment Section’s Employee Rights and Responsibilities Committee. Recently Zuckerman published a guide to the SOX whistleblower protection law: Sarbanes-Oxley Whistleblower Protection: Robust Protection for Corporate Whistleblowers.
